Nowadays there is no such thing as "unlimited" internet, and everthing is subject to some form of "fair use" policy. There have been many complaints and issues with this in the UK about providers use of the word "unlimited" and then capping it with a low "fair use" policy. The last truly unlimited internet package was around 3 years ago and that stopped when they realised that it wasn't financiall sustainable, and you had hordes of people signing up and literally downloading terabytes of torrents, movies and music. The strain of this on any regular network is pretty much unbearable, and the closest you will get to "unlimited" in the UK now are the big providers like O2 and Virgin who are big enough to be able to place massive caps on their system, and unless you really, really take the ****... ou will be able to pretty much download whet you want.
However Switzerland is a small country and prices of calls and data are disproportionate to pretty much the rest of Europe. 3G internet connections are based over mobile telephony 3G networks and as such much moree expensive than traditional ADSL and cable connections, and will always be subject to caps.
If you're based mostly at home and you think ou'll need some serious bandwidth, then then get yourself a Cablecom cable or Swisscom ADSL connection.
