SwissCom/CableCom Teleclub channels

HI - I am in the process of ordering TV/Internet/Phone from either Swisscom or Cablecom. I am interested to know from those who have it which one is the best mostly for English channels - I know if I get a TV that has the Dual language (I believe that is what it is called) some of the German channel I will be able to hear in English. In either case does anyone know as well if the Teleclub channels can be heard in English?

Would love to get SKY TV but just not sure how to go about doing that - I am in Basel - At the present time I am using a Slingcatcher which is great but hard when my little one wants to see TV as well.

Thanks for all the help!

Re: SwissCom/CableCom Teleclub channels

Cablecom: many of the channels have English - such as FOX, AXN, the movie channels. What you have to watch out for is some of the PPV movies are in German ONLY.

Also - the language switching is done by your set-top box and not the TV.

Thank you - Do I have to ask for a specific set-top box when ordering or do I automatically get it?

Re: SwissCom/CableCom Teleclub channels

You either get one that records or one that does not.

You might want to check out the Bluewin TV thread(s); this one I think might give you an overview of the Bluewin offering: http://www.englishforum.ch/tv-intern...luewin-tv.html
