| Just wondering if anyone stuck with their Milestones?, I hung on gamely refusing to root the phone so I could get the long awaited official Android 2.2 update (9 months Motorola were promising that) then it eventually arrived and didn't install over the air so there was no point not rooting it. Then all the complaints arrived about the update being buggy and slow. So I did root it so I could take an image of the phone in case I had to restore it to pre-update state. Anyway the point is, I gave up on motorolas update, installed Cyanogen Mod6 on my milestone, overclocked it to 1000mhz, installed a natty CPU scaling app and I've now got a silky smooth running phone that I'm really enjoying using.
Still won't buy another Motorola but I'm really pleased with how this one is running now, it's how Motorola should have made it. | |
