Anyone bought Forza yet? Quite fancied it this weekend but the version available here looks like its only in German but I am not sure. Does anyone own it, is there a change language option, or is it back to amazon.co.uk?

Complete newbie on these forums, so just tell me to take a run and jump. But i also own a 360 on Live, and would love to have a few gaming sessions if i'm welcome.

I bought the Swiss version, it's playable in english just fine, provided your console is set to english of course. It ended up being substantially cheaper to buy it here than in the UK.

Anyone purchased Colin McRae Dirt yet? I want this game (as I found it to be more fun that Forza2), but need to know if the Swiss version can be changed into English?

I'm guessing a firm yes. I haven't purchased it, nor do I plan to, but the fact that the demo is in english, and that it isn't a heavily text/speech based game makes it almost certain to have english available. I think I mentioned somewhere before that the only 360 game I own that wasn't playable in english was Oblivion, and that's because of huge amount of recorded speech in the game.

I've also found that out of all of my games, Oblivion was the only one that had the text written on the disc itself in german. All the rest, even though I purchased them here, have english writing on the discs if I recall correctly.

A few more things, too many to warrant an edit of my prior thread. My router problems were caused by a broken router, so I purchased a new one and it works fine. But, and I imagine someone might have a similar problem, the new router worked very poorly with Forza. They use a different sort of protocol than every other game, so it's possible that though every other game works fine, Forza won't. Fortunately updating the router's firmware seemed to solve the problem.

I'll also finally be going through and adding everyone's gamertag to my friend's list in the next few days.

From memory there are a few ports you need to make open and having Nat fully open to get all the Live stuff working properly. I set up my Xbox 360 wirelessly and gave it a fixed IP. This then allows me to open the required ports and Nat only for the Xbox as I don't trust Microsoft and Windows Vista not to make use of them elsewhere

i have read a couple of reviews and it seems to be a great game. i must admit that the previous two made me motion sick... certain games tend to do that to me... so i probably shouldnt buy it. weird though, gears of war and call of duty dont really affect me. grand theft auto and perfect dark do! pgr not. seems to be linked to the exact perspective which the game is played at.
