Switch from Sunrise to Swisscom

Hi,

I want to quit my two years contract with Sunrise and switch to Swisscom. I'm not really happy with the service and also with the "Abo's" that they offer.

I know that I have to pay a penalty fee if I want to leave the contract, my question it would be: After one year of contract, this penalty fee will be less? I think the penalty fee is 540 CHF for two years and 270 CHF for one year.

Thank you very much for any tip or info,

Haven't you answered your own question, or have I misunderstood?

Re: Switch from Sunrise to Swisscom

Hi,

I think I need to reformulate my question: There is this penalty, which cost 540 CHf for two years and 270 CHF for one year. I signed a contract for two years, in February I will be already one year. If I want to leave the contract, do I have to pay 540 CHF or 270 CHF?

I hope is understandable,

Cheers,

I am fairly sure that if you go to the Sunrise shop they will tell you that you have to give 30 days notice to quit your contract, and this notice has to be before the end of the present contract, which I think you mean in February. Therefore you need to write to them before January to terminate this 2 year contract. You will also have to pay their loss for one year, which is Fr 270,--

Nearly all contracts have a rolling renewal clause, and if you don't write in before the 11th month, the contract is automatically renewed for another 12 months!

Twice I have left Sunrise and twice they have chopped the connection 3 weeks before the end of the contract, probably spiteful, but be prepared to loose 3 weeks! The problem I had was how can I prove my Handy wasn't working?
