Who knows a site or has a list of prices for providers of unlimted GB use of ADSL or Cable Internet at from 4MB speed or higher?
Have not yet seen a sticky for this.

Comparis has an internet connection comparison

All or nearly all broadband offers are traffic limit free. There's no 24h disconnect either. This is not Germany after all.

If you're going for ADSL, make sure that the speed you want is actually available at your residence. E.g. at my apartment in Zurich (Kreis 5) I couldn't get more than 4Mbit/sec, until a few weeks ago it was even lower (2400 kbit/sec IIRC).

To check what speed is possible at your place, go to the bluewin web site, click on "Geschwindigkeit Ihres Swisscom Anschlusses prüfen" and enter your phone number.

I only see ADSL on comparis, nothing about cable.

Cablecom are the cable internet provider for most areas...although not all.
Where are you going to be living?

Don't know where we'll be just yet. But if I want to compare ADSL vs. cable I guess I'll have to do it elsewhere since Comparis doesn't have cable broadband. However, from looking at Cablecom's site it looks like they prices are quite a bit better than the DSL prices on Comparis.

Cablecom is definitely cheaper than the ADSL providers. Also they tend to be proactive with increasing the speed forcing the others to do it as well.

On the other hand side their support really s**ks, but hey that's only if you ever have a problem, right?

I didn't have the choice because we live in an older house with the really old school phone sockets...no adsl signal here so we had to go with cablecom.

Cablecom do not operate in most of the Zug region. The cable company you need to look at is www.wwz.ch, they cover Zug, Baar & up towards Kt. Zurich.

As it happens, I work for a Swiss telecom in Zug. ;-)

I'm not going to mislead you and tell you what a great product we have or anything - I don't know how our prices stack up to the competition, as I've only been with TIC for a month and haven't worked with our last mile connections yet. However, I do know that we operate pretty slim margins on the products I *have* worked with, so I'd imagine our prices are in line with others,
