It seems Cablecom have added a bunch of new channels onto their basic subscription, about 20 of them no less.

Imagine my surprise when channel surfing to be confronted with about three more MTVs, Eurosport2, various kids channels (including a couple of Disney ones), some I had no idea what they were and a few "Discovery channel" types.

You'll find them at around channel 70, just after the HD ones.

same here! i was pleasantly surprised to find a lot more English channels available since two days ago.

i wonder though if this is a technical glitch, because the new channels are actually part of the cablecom collection suite, which is an additional CHF15 on the bill? or are we going to be billed for it anyway??

I dont know if this makes any difference BUT I am living in Basel. I looked on the T.V. first BUT could not locate any new channels. I also browsed the cablecom website BUT there is NO listing of the channels mentioned above.

Can anyone give the channel numbers?

Here in Brugg (AG), it starts right after channel 65 or 66 (the Bible Channels). Just go to Channel 65 then keep pressing the channel up button. Alternately, you can jump right ahead to CNN (Channel 150), then work your way down.

And you're right. The new channels available on mine are still showing up as part of the Cablecom Collection, not on the standard channels package.

I have the channels too, but maybe its a free preview and they'll be gone in a week?

Hey as long as they leave the channels 'on' long enough for us to see the superbowl on ESPN America tonight I'll be happy... (feels more patriotic than watching on BBC One).
