It's astounding isn't it? I had a bunch of mates round to watch the England - Ireland match, tehy were amazed. Role on the Footy and Rugger world cups . I hope the beeb broadcast the England games in HD (then again, I might be in the pub anyway)

What else would the beeb want to broadcast in HD?

Certainly not the Scotland games I do miss the red button function though. It won't be great fun listening to the commentators screaming ROONEY every 5 seconds.

Yes the WC in HD would be sweeeeeet, perhaps only bettered by DDD. Yeah sure its pretty gimmicky but I woulndt compliain if my local pub was part of it. Worth a look me thinks. I mean look at those blokes in the picture they look pretty happy to me.

I'm not convinced by home 3D TV. I think it will pass without much fuss. But I did say the same thing about the iPhone back on 07
