i am lookign for an internet cafe in lausanne, i haven't had much luck, can you let me know where i can findone close to any metro.

You will find one just across the road opposite to metropole migros in the city center. (sorry, don't know its name).

There are two of them across the street from the Migros Métropole 2000 (upper level) which is just above the Flon.

One of them has some Spanish signs in the window. Do not use this one. Been there twice and got a virus on a USB key the first time and had my hotmail account scammed the second time.

When you are looking from the Migros at the Spanish one, the second one is to the left.

Not exactly an internet cafe as such, but if you have your own computer, you can use one of the free WiFi zones that are dotted about the place.
I've used the one around the Place de la Riponne area a couple of times recently.
