APN settings for orange

hia, anyone has at hand the APN settings required to use the orange network?
technical support opens in a few hours but i decided to try my luck on EF.

have say i needed to change the APN value from internet to click for it to work since it related to the data plan i got. hope this helps others...

I am on Orange with a jailbroken iPhone 2G from the States and my APN is "internet" with no username and no password.

If you have a 3G or 3Gs it might be different.

yes, as said not to clearly on my post, it all depends on the data contract you have.. the kid at orange said that for prima surf the word is "click" and voila!

Err, sorry, I didn't realise that you were answering your own post.

I also didn't realise that the APN was different for different data contracts.
I was more wondering if the model of phone changed anything. The reason why is that I have an original iPhone and it doesn't/can't use 3G networks of any kind.

Interestingly enough, Orange CH doesn't have any Edge protocols for their 2G networks. I think that it is something that ATT Hacked together in the USA to try and compensate for the spread out low speed networks over there.

If you have an original you will find that it is very slow over here.

I am almost ready to chuck mine and go buy a new one, but I am waiting for the 4G as they are calling it at the moment.
