There are plenty of "dual sim" phones around these days as well.
Digitec has some models on offer, you have to search for "dual sim", most of them Samsungs:

They are particularly popular in Asia where employers do not seem to give any allowance for private calls. Unfortunatley, they are not really marketed here and the iPhone is probably the last one you will see with that feature: Apple was the first to negotiate a revenue share with operators. So they are the only hardware manufacturer that has actually an interest in the SIM card used by the user. Giving the user the opportunity to make less revenue by using lebara for international calls or whoever is the cheapest for data is directly against Apple's own financial interest.
