Digital+ in Switzerland

Hello there,

I would like to get Digital+ (Spain) via Satellite; I cannot contract the service if I don't live in Spain. I found a shop that offers the service for a 'ridiculous' price of Chf. 2900 PER YEAR . Does anyone know any other shops that offers this service?

Thanks in advance

looks to be the going rate or so.

You do know that D+ is open on many C*AM*S right now, including T@qui11a PPV channels?

Re: Digital+ in Switzerland

I ordered today a T-R*x Super and a C*s 3+ for Pr*miere, I have read on many forums that D+ k*ys change every 2-3 days, is that true?

Thanks again

Re: Digital+ in Switzerland

D+ is changing more slowly now but there is something in the offing, I'm sure - dark times ahead.

Pre*iere is open with Predasaur and other cams plus emus on TM and DM machines.

w*w.alsat.co.uk/forums is a good research point - registration required.

Re: Digital+ in Switzerland

It is quite difficult to get a legal D+ sub outside Spain. As far as I know if you order D+ a installers comes by your house and installs Dish including a rented(?) receiver. After this is done they will send you the card. They don’t offer subscription-only stuff like Sky does. So in this case you either need family in Spain or go to the dark side

Re: Digital+ in Switzerland

as all dark side hobbies, if you want guaranteed reception then payment is the only way. Otherwise you take the light with the dark as you take your chances.

The German package including PPV has been available with a little work for this whole year. French packages available with more work. Spanish with success the last 4 months - daily updates needed. Portugese - same.

Just beware paying for some dodgy cards. C*AMs have limited lifespans so don't be upset when they cease to work as you wish.

I have a Dragon which opens less and less. But still it multicrypts so I can use different cards in the system into which it's inserted (I have Viaccess and NDS cards to use).

Re: Digital+ in Switzerland

Problem with Digital+ is that the k*ys change very often, even thought it would be a pain in the rear end to update these everyday or two, I really wouldn't mind. However, when I mentioned it to my wife: its easy: just go to this URL, download this file, convert these HEX numbers to decimal, and enter them in the receiver ... I got that "you are joking right?" look .

Sad thing, is that we really want this, mostly because we want our 21 month old son to watch TV in spanish.

Anyhow I tried my luck and called Digital+ customer service in Spain, after a useless 10min discussion with the Techie, arguing with him that I would only need the SmartCard, I talked with his supervisor which gave me a better answer: Its not because of technical reasons but because of legal restrictions: copyrights/royalties are paid for viewing those channels in Spain only, and besides he cannot draft some sort of contract were due to the location he could not offer any warranties over the service.

I found however another company in Switzerland that might be able to help Starsat, I am still waiting for a quote though.

I will keep you guys posted
