I downloaded the software and it's free and really works!
I think with other services you'd normally pay 7 quid a month or something.

It is very handy. I've been using it for about 6 months now, and find it great to catch up with things I've missed. I download programmes to keep to watch when I'm on a long journey. Great stuff.  |

it's in fact the UK version of anchofree's hotspot shield (which was giving you an US IP)

Great! I found it a bit galling that I hd English TV, paid money to Billag, but can never use the iPlayer - thanks a lot!

There is a website called ' zattoo.com', it's free and you can watch itv and bbc on there. i signed up for a while and it was a godsend. before we had english channels, i even hooked the laptop up to the tv and watched x factor live from that website. hope some of you guys will find it useful as well |

Download "Expat Sheild" - it works. It does come with a lot of junk and search bar and will drop adds in at the top of your browser window. But iPlayer works!
On the plus side speed seems uneffected:
