Re: Occupational Psychologist-Zurich

Hi Gal,
We are working on a project to collect the best of every profession in Switzerland for a museum exhibit. This is a unique opportunity to ask the candidates questions about their profession. We have been seeking an occupational psychologist to review the questions. Perhaps with your credentials here you would be interested in giving your input? If so, please contact me by PM. thanks for your fast reply.

Hi Everyone,

I know I have been around this site for a long while but I am now in Zurich full-time and having worked previously in the UK as a careers counsellor and for the Department of Work and Pensions and with the impact of the credit crunch setting in and people maybe re-thinking their careers, I thought someone might benefit from my career guidance services (conducted in English).

The consultations are especially relevant to those of you unsure of your future career direction, or if you are out of work, or looking to change careers.

I can help with:
• CV and covering letters
• Interview coaching
• Job applications
• Career planning
• Transferable skills identification
• Effective self-marketing

I also give career advice for trailing spouses who may have given up work to follow their partners and who may be using this break in their careers to change direction.

Basically, what ever your situation, I can structure a session to help you in what ever area you require, so you get the most from it, to suit your own needs. Depending on what you require in your consultation, you will probably get all you need from just one or two sessions.

I am a British Psychological Society registered psychometric profiler (Level A and B) in both personality and ability tests.

I am very flexible and informal in my approach to work, usually conducting the session in a one-to-one over a cup of coffee. This way I can keep my costs to a minimum without it impacting on the professional service you will receive.

My fees are fully comprehensive for a one hour session:

• 175 chf.- per one-to-one careers guidance session, which includes a summary report.

• 50 chf.- per online C.V .and Cover letter guidance, which includes template and restructuring.

• 300 chf.- ICES Personality test, consultation and profile feedback, plus summary report, including useful information which will enhance your job applications.

Over 65% of employers now use personality tests, this gives you the advantage of knowing yourself before they know you!

If you would like any further information send me a PM

Regards,
Gal
