If you're visiting the gruyere cheese factory and you have a museums pass (or Raiffeisen Bank EC Card) you get in for free.
I did the tour and thought it was ok, though they dont make cheese all day long so it helps to try to plan your visit to when they are actually making cheese.

If you've driven there and have some time, it's also fun to visit the Cailler factory which I think is a short drive from there. This is chocolate and not cheese, but still interesting.
At the end there's all you can eat chocolate.
