I am Canadian married to a German (Turkish background)

We got married in Istanbul and when we moved here, we came with our Family Book the city of Istanbul gave us. It was not a problem at all. Getting married in Istanbul wasn't too difficult, we had to provide a lot a paperwork beside blood tests and when it was all done, everything was easy here.

Tabrik ederim, hayirli olsun!

Thank you, Nil. I never heard about the blood test but thats ok. For 2011 the swiss law about international marriages has changed. The cause for this was explained as a result of fake marriages. But then real marriages were put in
at stake too. Our main concern is about pregnancy, my girlfriend wants to be
pregnant but we can't be sure how long it would take after marriage, marriage approval and a stay visa permission for me.

Thanks for the answer.
