Paying for holidays is totally normal and reasonable IMO, as is three months notice. Paying for induction is variable (I didn't, but was prepared to).

Not so sure about finding a replacement child though, pretty sure my contract does not stipulate that and it doesn't seem reasonable when a nursery school does not have a normal intake time, one would assume there are new babies joining throughout the year as they are born and their mothers go back to work...?

Still, if the nursery is in demand it can probably stipulate any criteria it likes (although if in demand would surely have waitlist?) and up to parents to decide whether they can live with them.
