When I first registered with Ricardo-alot of years ago-they sent me a letter by post and there I had to confirm my identity.
Not sure whether they still do that-as these scams indicate a problem somewhere in Ricardo organisation
The scam I got was also gmail.com address. | |

My guess is that they are using Gmail so you can not do an IP search to find out where they are sending the email from. Gmail shows up as Google in California. Not very useful.
