| How long do closed threads stick around again? It would be nice to reference this thread at the start of the new thread. To me, it just seems odd to say: "we have been going (unofficially) to the Viadukt for about a year now, but there is no reference of it, but join us anyway". If the closed thread sticks around for at least a month or so, I see no reason not to start a new thread (and I can do it again if you want me to)... | |

Feel free to
start a new thread and link to this one. It has over 1000 posts and only the brave would read all of it - although I understand some people went to the cinema to see the film Australia and sat through that as well.
As most of the posts are of the Fluff variety, there's a risk of fire. Dust chickens the size of buffalo wander the lost mid pages. The basic info remains the same: location, time, everyone welcome, transport.
Universal social event threads tend to dissuade rather than encourage. A new thread for each event may be more appropriate.
Thanks.
