Re: What is the benefit of an Euro account with Postfinance?

Hi, reviving an old thread.

In was wondering any catch with having a postfinance account in CHF and putting money through a 2nd postfinance accounr in EUR, through SEPA paiments.

I mean if you take "banknotes" out you'll have a poor rate + fees.
If you make a SEPA bank transfer, it's free and you get the "currency rate" (ie the one with higher conversion).

Am I missing something?

PS: it's for the occasional purchases when the CHF is high value compared to the EURO, not to do anything regular or transfer large amounts.
