Re: Astra @ (for Sky) and Hotbird 13 degrees from same dish

If you are going to use a multifeedhalter, don't get a monoblock. Especially if you'll be using a DiSEqC switch - the monoblock also has one in it.

Monoblock is perfect for a single LNB setup with six degrees of separation between the birds (so 13/19 east, for example).

If you want to get Astra1/2 and Hotbird, I'd go prime focus on 28 east and then have the other two offset as in the picture. That's a 1m Gilbertini but you should be ok with 85cm.

I've done this myself on a balcony but the picture above was a professional installation.

The switch - never seen one in Fust but specialist satellite stores like www.satshop.ch will have 'em. The switch will take feeds from each LNB and then give you simply ONE cable down from the dish (assuming you don't use a Sky box). The receiver can then be set to switch automatically between the different satellite channels.
Hi, I have installed Astra and Hotbird in London and I have a SMART Receiver MX26 which blew up. I have a new one now that has been set up in Austria to receive Austria (I have a card) and I have bought Sat Access Card in January 2007 for sfr60 to receive the Swiss channels. Beginning of September all my Swiss and Austrian channels have disappeared except sfINFO.
I can't get in touch with Sat access by e-mail or phone (wrong number)
I'm desparate now to find the frequency numbers for the Swiss and Austrian channel to have it set up again.
Do you know how I can find this information.
I would appreciate it.
To add to my problems the colour on the TV has disappeared as well. I do get all the German channels on Astra and 3SAT - in black-and-white!
Can anybody help.
Thank you
Trudi
