Re: Useful calculator for finding out how much tax you need to pay on 3rd pillar pay

I just tried it, and I found it quite cumbersome. Especially that it keeps sending PDFs to you.

I have been trying to find something that explains the tax implications but have turned up nothing.

I note Jenny wrote in 2007 that there is not much point in doing a third pillar if you are not staying at least 10 years.

If I paid 6600 into a Pillar 3a in 2011, how much am I taxed if I withdraw it all in 2012, 2013, 2014, ... etc.?

Does anyone have a pointer to this seemingly basic information?
I tried the UBS program & was informed that I had more money in the 3a than is allowed. What a cr*p program.

The Credit Suisse one worked OK & said I would pay about 5% tax in my Kanton.....
