Sorry to hear they didn't renew, it's a pisser. I hope you do ok.

I do have to ask though, why would anyone sign up for a lease when the risk of not getting a renewed permit is higher than the norm? ie, non-eu, contracting maybe, flighty jobs etc etc?
I see a lot of people post about trying to get out of leases for cars.
Apartments,fair enough, we have to live somewhere, but a car? What's wrong with buying a cheap one?
