Re: Barbecues / Grills - what to get ?

We just got a Koenig Compact Pro (not really compact as it would seem), works great and the price was right on sale $299 at Fust and I had a 10% coupon. Good for 6, maybe 8 people.

Be careful about charcoal. Depending on what type of situation you live in -- if an apartment or complex, and where the grill sits -- the charcoal smoke can stain a wall or ceiling on a patio if not in the open, and more importantly, people complain here about the smoke smell. Our neighbors are lamenting because they just went out and got an expensive charcoal grill and can't use it because the upstairs neighbors were complaining about the smoke and smell. I heard that happens here a lot so most people go with gas. We got ours 1 1/2 months ago and I haven't used the stove since!
