| A Lithuanian man who gave a Nazi salute during an Olympic basketball match has become the first person to be convicted of a racially aggravated offence at the Games and fined GBP2,500.
Fining him GBP2,500 plus GBP85 costs, district judge Sonia Sims told him: ‘‘This type of conduct tarnishes the whole ethos of the Games.’’ | |

What hypocrisy.
Ther whole olympic torch thing, the whole opening ceremony thing, all stuff the Nazis added and that reeks of fascist symbolism. But oh, there's nothing fascist about a bunch of athletes with beautiful bodies competing to find out who is top nation these days. Oh the very thought.
Just please don't take that thought one step further.
At least they make the trains run on time.
