Unfortunately, you can't on one hand say "I couldn't do it myself" and then say "Thats really expensive I'd have done it for less!" I'm afraid
The problem is that the cabinet where the bulb is seems to need to be taken apart from what I understood to reach the bulb. In this case, it isn't the op's fault if they made it so complicated to the renters to do the job.

On an other note, I think Switzerland is the only country where they charge you for their transport time.
