Re: Ski and Snowboard hire [season/short-term]

IME season rents are usually calculated at 55% of the new price, so if you want new kit every year then it's worth it. Otherwise, you are quids in if you buy and use your kit for 2 seasons. I would always recommend buying your own boots and having them fitted properly - painful feet are one of the quickest ways to be put off skiing.
