To get the VAT back in Germany, you will have to have the receipt stamped at Swiss customs, where they charge you 8% VAT.
You won't save much. Deducing fuel/train-fare and time, the balance is probably negative.
Show me a piece of electronics that can't be had cheaper here than in Germany.
About the only exception is if you want to buy a kitchen (or other furniture).
