You won't need an MFK for a year, so no hurry! Generally the MFK is in some ways easier than an MOT, if minor things don't work like lights, windscreen washers etc you just have to sign that you will get it fixed!

The car needs to have a clean engine & chassis which is the main difference & cars should be original specification.
