Re: Interview in Switzerland

Hello!

Have been following your story and have fingers crossed for you and your family

I only have experience of the one firm, but have seen a few people coming in and it does seem to take a while for all the ducks to be lined up - in my case it was 3 months from being told I had got the job to receiving the formal offer (I was transferring internally and had 2 interviews which weren't too onerous before that). Another colleague was recruited externally and it took over a year from applying to receiving the offer However, as I say this is all from one (international) company and some of the issues that took the time related to aligning the expectations of the "global" firm with the "Swiss" firm, so hopefully you won't have to wait quite so long.

It's horrible having the feeling of putting your life on hold waiting for a decision - you can't get excited about the "new" life, but also can't really plan to do stuff from your current place

Good luck and hope you hear something soooooooon!!!
