Re: Interview in Switzerland

Hi all I know the recrutment process in Switzerland takes longer than in the uk, but how much longer? (sorry if I'm sounding impatient. I'm trying not to be lol!). I'd love to know other people's experiences. So to recap, the whole process for my husband started back in March with the CV. He then had 2 phone interviews and a face to face interview 3 weeks ago. My husband has been called every week by the recruitment agency. Today they asked for a reference, previously he was asked to confirm qualifications. He was told they are still deciding. Good news? Bad news? We just don't know anymore. We stupidly got ourselves excited about Switzerland Thanks
I work in HR - for a management role here in the UK we take about 3 months to cover the process and get the right person. And on a positive, the fact they have asked for references and qualifications can only mean they are seriously considering his application and is probably down to the shortlist.

Its a shame companies don't look at how enthusiastic the spouse is when considering relocating a person because its the spouse that is the biggest influence over how successful the move actually is.
