One of my mom's shorthairs (RIP now) had a super thick coat that made her shed like mad and cough up hairballs daily. Mom tried combing and brushing her twice a day but it still didn't help. She decided to try the lion cut on her and never went back. Of course it does look a tad goofy, and you might want to leave the coat for winter if the kitties go outside. But as I've mentioned on other threads, every cat I've known that had the lion cut loved it (the owners too).
Lol. Sorry I'm trying to imagine my two with a lion cut lol I do brush them daily but my efforts are in vain.
