We don't need to go that far! This reminds me of one of the crazy ideas I come up with when we're brainstorming at my company. Which is a "necklace of nuclear weapons around each of the earth's poles" (for some reason I just love saying it). The idea is that every six months we explode said weapons and tilt the earth's axis so that the northern hemisphere gets another summer. (Of course, the Australians are gonna whine like crazy, but that's nothing new...)

My other idea is chimpanzee farms. (Apparently the meat is absolutely delicious, but hunting in the wild is driving them to extinction. Win win).
