I looked at one 18 months ago (with the intention of installing Linux), but the single-button mouse seemed impractical for X-windows. Ended up getting a Dell (XPS M1210).

You can set it up so you have <key>+click combinations for the buttons. I'm not a big track pad fan myself, so I just use a bluetooth mouse. Besides, I dig the scroll wheel.

For the most part, I just use terminal.app to do most of my unixy stuff.
