I read a study somewhere that the labs where associated to the most biting accidents, compared to other races.

The study emphasised that it was not because labs are more aggressive than other dogs, but simply because they are the most populare breed. So the sheer number of them explains why there's more bites reported.
That would make sense. They are undoubtedly one of the more popular breeds. My aunt owns labs and I have never had an issue with the breed itself though not my preference due to their popularity.

It's just been odd that of all the dogs we encounter out and about that it's been three labs who have charged over and pounced on us.
