Why don't you talk to your OB about birthing options and locations and go visit them?
I may be a little out of date, but as of 2010, this is not true, at least in the city. Both Unispital and Triemlispial had four beds per public room. There's also been a bit of a baby boom in Zurich, so the chances of beds being underbooked is pretty low.
