Re: Work/residence permit quotas

A 100 Swiss francs a day for an adult is what the FOM suggests you work to. So 3,000 a month for 3 months as a job seeker is 9,000. If you plan to stay longer and don't find a job within 3 months then you'll need more cash.

"Usually" the cantonal migration offices haven't bothered to check how much you have as you're an EU national until you apply for an L permit to extend your stay beyond the initial 3 months. BUT since the recent immigration vote some people have reported that they've started checking straight away, i.e. soon after you register at the commune/gemeinde as a new resident.
