Re: Work/residence permit quotas

Great, thanks Medea, that won't be a problem at all.

Haha Island Monkey - it's not really like that at all. First of all, my boyfriend has a Swiss background, but he's Canadian first and foremost. We live here in Canada together and will be moving to Switzerland together. Secondly, I've been planning this for a year and a half and have made many contacts and have multiple job interviews set up for when I arrive. I don't doubt that I will find a job.
Finally, I've been putting money aside for a worst-case-scenario for ages so if all I need is 2000 CHF/month, I can easily not work for a year with no harm done.
Also - I have an EU passport, so provided the quotas aren't reached, there should be no reason why it's difficult to to get an L permit.
I'm also moving in with a cousin, so I don't need to worry about an apartment.

I've got it all figured out! haha
