Dear all,

I'll start working in Ticino in May.
My company accountant is proceeding on my behalf to the application for a G working permit.

I read that with the G permit one has to go back on his country of residence (UK for me) once a week.
The information I found on a federal site (I can find the link if needed) says once a week, not when.
So theoretically it should be possible to do:
. Sunday first week,
. Monday flight to Switzerland
. spend the all week there until the Friday of second week
. Flying back in UK on that Friday (second week) which means 12 days in Switzerland.

My question is:
has anyone any experience about how strict are these controls?
I am not sure of the consequences either.
But I am more worried about breaking the (not so clear IMO) rule.
