Re: missing deadline for driving licence change

I think I posted this before - but matches the thread somehow:
  • Had a German license since I was 18
  • Moved to Switzerland and learned that I will have to exchange it here before(!) I came, and somehow read+remembered that Australian licenses can also be exchanged w/o test.
  • Holidayed OZ extensively before coming to CH
  • Managed to exchange my German license for an Australian one, without surrendering the German one.
  • After arriving to CH I managed to exchange the OZ-license for a Swiss one (without surrendering the OZ one (it now sports a sticker "not valid in Switzerland")).
Result: I physically have all 3 of them, but obvisouly I would never use any but the Swiss one in Switzerland. I treat the other two like a souvenir of old times.

Funny side effect of the OZ license: Got a rebate on car rental in Cyprus, because I hold a "left-side driving license".
