Re: The Vet Thread (Recommendations)

A recommendation for those in ZG and surrounding areas of ZH and SZ:

Kleintierpraxis myVets GmbH
Knonauerstrasse 54
6330 Cham
Tel. 041 780 28 28

http://www.myvets.ch

Dr Alexander Gerold, the internal medicine specialist who has been taking care of the Muttley Crew for years at the Spezialistinklinik, has just opened his own practice, along with Dr Alexandra Lierau (general medicine), Dr Yuri Béosier (specialist surgery), and Dr Isabelle Zulauf (specialist in small mammals, reptiles, birds). This is a full-service practice.

I think the world of Dr Gerold, as (most importantly) do the mutts. He has seen us through some very difficult illnesses, I know my dogs are always in good hands with him.

Dr Béosier did Haifisch's amputation, a difficult operation and a complete success. He has also consulted on the Belltie's mobility issues. Dr Lierau saw Hooligan on one of our emergency occasions some years ago - I was quite impressed with her as well. I met Dr Zulauf yesterday, and liked her very much.

The myvets partners are all highly skilled vets who are very customer-focused, putting the animal and owner front and center. It's very important to me that a vet sees me as a partner in my dogs' care - the myvets team certainly do this.

The practice has just opened; I was there yesterday with the Belltie. It's an easily accessible location, both by public transport and by car, with parking in front of the practice.

All the partners are happy to consult in English. Also French, Italian and Dutch - and of course German - as well.

I whole-heartedly recommend the myvets team. (As do Hooligan and the Belltie. ) A fantastic resource for pet owners in the area.
