A Nanny
- has one on one attention with your children , even if they are 4 children (I worked with 4 kids or more and parents never complained about not giving them enbough attention)
- she cleans up after your children all the time
- drop off and pick up your children from school
- sometimes cleans the house , cooks and irons for the parents also (Nanny Housekeeper) not only for the children
- irons the children clothes
- takes care of their belongings (arrange clothes, toys, clean their toys etc.) and so much more
- does some things around the house ( for example sewing the children dress or go to buy something your children need or you need but you don't have time, put out the meat to defreeze if you have a party that evening...etc.)
- a Nanny also has to pay rent (unles she is live in)

Which, apart from the last sentence, has got nothing to do with the cost over and above wages.
If you've got more than one child (or perhaps more than two) then a nanny can work out cheaper than a krippe.
We once did the sums but decided against a nanny.
