It helps to keep the bathroom door closed during and after using the shower, and then open the window, or put the fan on.

Do you have a shower curtain? Hang it up and spread it out, so it dries quickly when doing the above extraction. It helps of
course if you all shower after each other, keeping the door shut as much as possible, then extracting the steam in one go.

Do you use a washing machine? that is also a big source of humidity.

Recommended action is to open the windows and doors every 4 hours, for 3 or 4 minutes, then close, to avoid wasting the heat.

When it is freezing outside the humidity will drop.
