I'll be the voice that questions why you all feel that flu jabs are worth anything more than giving your doctors a license to print money.

Why can't you look after yourselves and let your body's immune system handle life as it happens rather than poisoning yourselves?

Eat healthy, live healthy, wash your hands after you've been in public areas and prepare food and drinks in a clean environment and you'll be good to go. Drink enough fluids during the cold months even when you don't feel thirsty and keep your circulation active, so if you work in an office and are forced to sit down, get up as frequently as you can and keep yourselves flexible.
Because some of us take immune-suppressants to stay alive or have an illness that causes immune suppression?

Yes, the flu vaccine is only 65% effective in the immunocompromised group, but 65% is better than 0%. And yes, the flu produces better immune protection than the vaccine, but sometimes it's about staying alive.
