Start to find out what paperwork you need and get it together or find out when you'll receive it and when you need to submit the documents. Don't wait for RAV or the Canton to just send you documents, call them and find out. It is a horrible situation and I feel for you, we are also a similar situation regarding wether we will stay or not. We are EU nationals but we're on 6month L permits for last five years, and now we are being checked and asked for alot of documentation that they didn't need before. Husband is entitled to the unemployment until next October but that is only if we are granted the permit. Don't hold back, find out from them what you need to do and stay focussed.
