Hello

I received my work permit which is good, but it is an L permit however my contract is permanent. I thought I will get a B.

My company says that they do not know why I got L not B, maybe because of I am from Hungary or the contingent is full.

When a Company applies for a permit they states what kind of permit they want? Or just they need a permit for somebody and the Authority decides what it will grant?

If anybody has any info on this please share it with me I am a bit confused. I guess I will have some disadvantages in the future because of the L permit(eg: looking for apartman).
