Me too. Everything seems legit; the property was on Booking.com and has good reviews on TripAdvisor, but if the site has indeed been hacked then that's all meaningless. If he starts asking for more money, then I'm going to get very suspicious.

Like I said, the Post confirms the payment was made into the correct account, but my wife didn't get a written confirmation of this. She's emailed him back and we're just waiting for a response.
