If we know somebody is a racist, any controversial statement they make proves even more that they are a racist.

If we know they're a good guy, the same statement shows they have a grip on relaity and the balls to say what others won't dare to speak about.

Non-racist racism = good
Racist racism = bad.

Simple really.
