VS is the poster child for upholding an almost impossible to achieve body ideal. Same hairstyle, same make-up, same facial features that only vary in their hue - identikit beauty. Beauty, yes, they are stunning, it's their job after all, but all the same. They also represent what must be about 2% of the human population's genetic predisposition for height, skin tone, muscle tone, hair quality etc. combined with a willingness to make sure that predisposition is expressed to maximum effect AND a stunning face. I'm happy to look at them and acknowledge that they are masterpieces, the problem beginns when people think that this is how everyone should want to be or compare real human beings to photoshopped images of already perfect creatures.
It's advertising. They sell underwear - and a lot of it.
They make it exclusive to certain sizes to create a brand image.

Glad you're not taken in by advertising.

It's like that slim woman who used to be in the Kelloggs Special K adverts. If you really ate that sugar-laden junk everyday, you wouldn't look like that.

It's the same with those Gym protein powders. Most blokes aren't going to look the guy in the commercial because they're not going to train six hours a day. Whether they eat the stuff or not will really not make much difference.

A 3000CHF Gucci bag is not 1000 times better than a 100 CHF bag.

etc etc etc
