Oops. I stand corrected. I had looked into it from the point of view of getting a
teaching qualification - for primary school teaching/ secondary school language teaching and for special needs educator/primary teacher with special needs specialism, C1 or an equivalent qualification was required. I was told that my DEA from a french univeristy (roughly the equivalent of a Masters ) was ample evidence of my level of French.
